"This project deals with the idea that light is a sign, an echo, of human civilization. Every were around us, the urban landscape is filled with signaling lights. Whether it is commercial signs, community information or simply streetlights, direct or indirect messages are being transmitted. This piece consists of an animation projected on a sheet of Plexiglas with sound added to it. The placement of the installation, hanging freely in the air above the staircase in the atrium, strongly enhanced the concept (or idea) of the work. The room itself, with its somewhat sacred elongated upward character and the squared symmetry added in a nice way to the contents of the piece. But also the contents of the animation enhanced the characteristics of the room, matching each other very well.

The sound is to be described not only as a audio-visual equivalence to the visual part, rather as the thing (factor) giving the piece its strong atmosphere. It was meant to describe what simple graphic symbols could not."
