thoel : eme is thomas watkiss (bass, field recordings, images) and joel grimes (guitars, effects, words).

thoel : eme was born in the humid American summer of 2005. the group became an annual meeting that included open-air recording sessions that mixed the sound of the surrounding nature with our improvised instrumentation. the sound works are illustrated by "chapters" of Grimes' written works and Watkiss' imagery.

thoel : eme continues to work as an ongoing project that collects material for their debut full-length release, aimed at mid 2010. stay tuned.
